The Power Drive universal shafts offer superior performance, improved safety and better handling. They are designed for machinery that is used continuously and meet the highest requirements, in particular, those of large farms and contractors.

• Simplified handling

To allow for easier handling of the Power Drive universal shafts, their guard cones can easily be unlocked and pushed back. The resulting free space simplifies connecting and disconnecting the drive shafts as well as the maintenance of the joints and guard bearings. The integrated internal bracing allows the use of particularly flexible cones, and thus provides increased reliability. 

Profiled thick-walled protective pipes prevent the two protecting halves from twisting towards each other. This makes the holding chain on the tractor side unnecessary. With the full protection version, there is no need at all for holding chains. 

• Maintenance

Power Drive universal shafts require maintenance only once per season (every 250 hours). This significant extension of the maintenance intervals is owed to the following technical particularities: 

• The material used for the guard bearings requires only minimal lubrication.
• The joints are fitted with special cardan joint seals (multi-lip technology) whose shape and material prevent grease and dust from exiting and penetrating, respectively.
• The profile tubes are fitted with a grease nipple. These tubes are made of specially treated material which reduces shifting forces and minimises wear on the profile tubes. Profile tube seals strip off dirt and prevent loss of grease.

All in all, this means for the user: Power Drive universal shafts require maintenance only once per season (every 250 hours depending on the maintenance class).
